All summer long, Plum will be gorging on lobster rolls all over the East End and, by Labor Day, we're going to let you vote for the one you think is the very best.
This week we headed off to Claws on Wheels in East Hampton (which, despite the name, is not actually on wheels). Although it's the most expensive lobster roll we've had so far, and possibly one of the most expensive in the Hamptons, Plum's Robyn Moreno definitely felt she got her money's worth. The chunks of lobster were so ridiculously huge they wouldn't even stay contained in the roll! But what’s the real secret ingredient? It’s the fresh, locally grown dill. It adds a certain je ne sais quoi, oui?
