Kicking off the contest this week, Plum's Robyn Moreno pops into Bobby Van's in Bridgehampton to sample their elegant version of this classic Hamptons dish. Although their recipe is top secret, here's what we were able to get them to divulge …
First they start with super fresh lobster meat and make a mayonnaise-based salad with carrots, celery and onion to accompany it. Next, it’s seasoned with lemon juice, lemon zest and celery salt. And finally, it’s all wrapped up in a piece of warm, lavish bread.
