When Super Saturday and Polo arrive in July, you won't have much time to stop and check out the animals and artwork you'll see on Scuttle Hole Road while on your way. So catch up early and check out this piece on Nova Miahai Popa, owner of the estate.
Having escaped socialism in Transylvania, Romania in the 1960s, Bridgehampton artist Nova Miahai Popa came to the West with the idea that art must have a purpose. He founded a huge outdoor museum called the Ark Project. He believes art is meant to restore balance and it's when man goes after his desires instead of balance that bad things occur.
