On Saturday, July 19th, the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation hosted their annual "Art For Life" gala at Russell Simmons' gorgeous estate in East Hampton. From Governor Paterson and Aretha Franklin to Sean "Diddy" Combs and Lorraine Bracco, it was one of the must-attend events of the season.
Exceeding all fundraising expectations (they pulled in at least $1.5M and counting), the money will go to support arts education for underserved New York students.
