Bay Street Theatre:Comedy Club: Funny-people Jim Breuer, Caroline Rhea, Louis CK, Craig Shoemaker, and Lewis Black (two shows) all perform live Monday nights.Main Stage: The Night Season, a comedy starring Katherine Helmond, premieres begins its run at the Theatre tomorrow. The world premiere of the rock n roll musical Turandot: The Rumble for the Ring continues the season before it ends with another uproarious comedy The Lady in Question.KidStreet: Your kids will love the brilliantly creative performances by Danna Banana, Hot Peas'N Butter, Norman Foote, Laughing Pizza, Justin Roberts and Astrograss.Guild Hall:Museum: Dan Flavin's An Intimate View, Works from the 1960's will remain on display from June 16 until July 29. The final exhibit of the summer is works by Billy Sullivan, on display from August 11 through October 21.John Drew Theater: Before welcoming live performances inside, Guild Hall hosts its benefit season opener, presenting John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molasky at the Maidstone Tennis Club. Two other off-site events include Armitage Gone! Ligeti Essays at a Hunting Lane Estate in East Hampton on July 21, and American Musical Theatre Salutes #1: Heart to Hart- The Warmth and Wit of Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Heart at East Hampton Studios on August 5.A staged reading of Joseph Stein's Enter Laughing is the first on-site performance on August 12, followed by Steve Martin's Picasso at the Laping Agile from August 14 through September 1. David Mamet's Oleanna will be staged on August 19, just before American Musical Theatre Salutes #2: Berlin in Hollywood ends the summer season on August 26. Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center:Shows: Concerts by Boney James, and Lizz Wright are accompanied by comedienne Lily Tomlin and Psychic Jeffrey Wands in June. Buckwheat Zydeco kicks off July's assortment of musical performances, which also includes Hall & Oates, Randy Newman, Mariza and Al Jardine. The Long Island Comedy Festival takes the stage on July 5. Adding separate comedic or solo performances are Craig Ferguson, Debbie Reynolds and Avi Hoffman.August at WHBPAC welcomes Fab Faux, Angelique Kidjo, the New York City Opera, Michael Feinstein, Linda Ronstadt, Rufus Wainwright, Jungle Jack Hanna, Jim Gaffigan, Ottmar Liebert and Steve Tyrell.Special Events: On July 20, the WHBPAC fundraiser "Home & Garden Tour" weaves you in and out of local architecture, flora and fauna. On August 20, the organizations hosts a benefit for the organization is the National Theatre Workshop of the Handicapped.As you can see, there is a LOT to attend this summer.
