Comedian and East Hampton resident Jerry Seinfeld was not laughing this weekend when he flipped his vintage Fiat while out for a drive in the Hamptons. Seinfeld, an avid classic car collector, went to hit the brakes as he was approaching an intersection only to have them fail. No luck with the emergency brake either and when he swerved to avoided the intersection he rolled the Fiat, but he walked away unscathed. True to form, Seinfeld was joking about the incident shortly afterwards:
"Because I know there are kids out there, I want to make sure they all
know that driving without braking is not something I recommend, unless
you have professional clown training or a comedy background, as I do.
It is not something I plan to make a habit of."
