Is your child an impish, little gnome who can spin straw into gold? Then he/she is the perfect fit for the Frederick DeMatteis Arts Education Program for Children's School Vacation Adventures Theatre Camp's production of Rumpelstiltskin at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center. Registration for the week of camp (April 21-25) is now open.
In the retelling of the classic tale, in the format of a rollicking musical, children arrive on Monday to be cast in their roles and by Friday night they hit the stage. When they're not rehearsing, they’re taking classes by Teaching Artists in acting, improvisation, singing, movement, theatre games, and performing in the ever-popular Talent Show.
The age range of roles begins in Kindergarten and ends in 12th grade. Space is limited to 60 students, so sign up before it's too late.
Download a PDF registration form at the WHBPAC site or call 631-288-2350, ext. 102.
