Hamptons

No Hamptons for Heather

Tragically, Heather Mills will not be getting Paul McCartney's East Hampton home in the divorce settlement. As the judge in the case stated, "'In my judgment, her case overlooks the fact that all of the husband’s properties were acquired before their marriage, in some cases long before…I see no justification whatever for the homes on Long Island or in New York City.'" Poor Heather. Perhaps that's why she was compelled to pour a glass of water over Sir Paul's lawyer's head at the close of the trial. Heather will just have to make do with the $50 million or so she got in the settlement. Newsday has the full story as well as a chronicle of Paul McCartney's time spent in the Hamptons.

Heather Mills Won't Get Paul McCartney's Hamptons Home [Newsday]

 I can't help thinking

I can't help thinking that Ms. Mills desiring the Hampton and NYC houses (among other things) is her hope to spend most of her time on this side of the pond.  She has said she feels mistreated by her fellow Brits.  What makes her think it would be different here?  Does she seriously think she will be able to pal around with the so called "in" people?  She would only attract wannabes like herself.  I doubt very much the "in" people would choose her over Sir Paul. Even ordinary people like myself can't abide her.

As an aside,  quite awhile back she told a strory (I beleive on Larry King Live)of her exploits of helping people escape from war torn countries.  Going over hill and dale, with her artificial leg mind you.  It just sounded  like such a fantasy, I question her sanity.

Too bad Paul McCartney fell for it.
