The Hamptons International Film Festival 2007

Every fall the Hamptons International Film Festival arrives just in time to stave off the post-season-decompression blues. We've gotten past the fact that the summer is over and we can drive the streets again. We're relaxed. And we're starting to get a little bored.

So there's no better fix than 103 movies, actors, directors, producers and writers landing in town for a five-day fest to get us going again. This is year 15 for the festival and every year seems to outdo the last. (Just checkout who's expected to attend the festival below—it's like the seating chart for rows 2 through 12 at the Oscars.) Couple all of this with some great films, a bunch of parties and you'll start to forget that the leaves are starting to change.

There are a ton of ticketing options, special packages, events and discussions that will be taking place over the course of the five day fest, so the best way to get in on the action is to checkout the schedule on the the Hamptons International Film Festival website, order your tickets and get ready to see some great films.

We're resisting the urge to say, "See you at the movies," because that would just be cheesy. But we will see you at the movies.

Expected Attendees:

Lauren Ambrose, Bob Balaban, John Cusack, Phil Donahue, Alison Eastwood, Chris Eigeman, Ralph Fiennes, Alex Gibney, Marcia Gay Harden, Hannah Herzsprung Famke Jansen, Harvey Keitel, Yun Jin Kim, Lisa Kudrow, Frank Langella, Blake Lively Sidney Lumet, Sirio Maccione, Al Maysles, Gretchen Mol, Jeff Nichols, Amanda Peet, Scott Prendergast, Vanessa Redgrave, Keri Russell, Susan Sarandon, Sean William Scott, Lili Taylor, Egbert Jan Weeber, Jess Weixler, Gahan Wilson, Alec Baldwin, Lauren Bacall
