Hamptons

19 and ... Ohhhh No! Big Blue Delivers Big Upset

Super Bowl XLII

Remember that Plum Hamptons writer who wrote the Patriots would beat the Giants in the Super Bowl? Turns out his source was incorrect.

The Patriots have lost.

Repeat:

The Patriots have lost.

Even better:

Your New York Giants have won their 11th-straight game on the road, giving them their third Vince Lombardi Trophy as the champions of the 42nd Super Bowl.

Several people have their theories as to how this happened. Did the Pats jinx themselves when attempting to trademark the phrase 19-0? Did Tom Brady's ankle play spoiler? Did Eli blossom at the right time? Is Mercury Morris a rhyming prophet? Were five sacks enough to keep Tom Brady grounded?

The celebration must not end yet. If New York City is having a celebratory parade on Tuesday, then the Hamptons must keep up the momentum out East.

We want pictures of your parties. We want stories about your favorite moments of the season and the Super Bowl. We also want Archie Manning's DNA. Two out three wouldn't be too bad.

Send your favorite Giants pics (like our friend Annabelle to the right) to hamptonsphotos@plumtv.com. Post comments below or send your narratives to hamptonseditor@plumtv.com.

As a diehard Pats fan, I would like to offer my congratulations to the NY Giants and their fans. As much as I was hoping to see my team win, I thoroughly enjoyed the game regardless of the outcome.
